On the afternoon of February 27, our Chairman Professor Shi Yuanyuan, Technical Director Dr. Feng Yaru, Deputy Head of R&D Sun Rui, and Assistant to the Chairman Wei Zheng visited Shenzhen Innova Immune Co., Ltd. for exchange and discussion. Wang Mingjun, Executive President of Innova; Qiao Dongjuan, Head of Cell Preparation; and Li Qingqing, Quality Head, extended a warm welcome and held a symposium.

During the symposium, Chairman Professor Shi Yuanyuan introduced Shenzhen Cell Valley's development over the past six months, including breakthroughs in retroviral vector technology, the construction of an auxiliary filing platform, and the improvement of GMP talent cultivation mechanisms. Leveraging the geographical advantages of the Greater Bay Area, the company has established deep collaborations with multiple clinical research institutions, research organizations, testing facilities, regulatory agencies, and pharmaceutical companies in South China. Shenzhen Cell Valley will complete version 1.0 of its cell industrial production line in March 2023, and plans to build an international-level automated and intelligent version 2.0 cell industrial production line by the summer of this year to meet the diverse needs of clients. Chairman Shi stated that Shenzhen Innova is currently the domestic company with the most advanced progress in TCR-T cell drug development based on retroviral vector technology, and Cell Valley is willing to join forces with the Innova Immune team to jointly apply for China's first retroviral vector-based TCR-T IND approval.

Executive President Wang Mingjun provided a comprehensive introduction to Innova Immune from perspectives including corporate development and R&D pipelines. He noted that Innova Immune is committed to original innovation, possesses strong R&D capabilities, and has been deeply engaged in the TCR-T field for many years, consistently using retroviral vectors. Given that Shenzhen Cell Valley possesses advantages in industrial-scale retroviral vector production, collaboration between the two parties would undoubtedly be mutually beneficial—not only in the cell product preparation stage but also in assisting with IND filing and drug approval processes. Taking this symposium as the starting point for cooperation, the two parties will engage in comprehensive collaboration on joint project applications and product development, leveraging their respective strengths, integrating resources, building a full industry chain, driving continuous innovation in domestic retroviral vector-based cell products, and leading globally.
